All aboard the Zone bus

This week, we’re delighted and excited to introduce four newbies, so a big welcome to Qianlin Yin (pictured), Fay Annison, Rob Purcell and Maxime Petagna...
Qianlin joins our senior UX team, bringing extensive experience from a range of industries, including gaming and e-commerce. Since moving to Yorkshire 10 years ago, Qianlin has amassed two degrees, but says she has yet to master the accent!
Fay is our shiny new facilities manager, who will be overseeing and helping us with a very exciting project over the coming months, having previously aided the BBC through a similar largescale process. In her spare time, Fay enjoys sailing yachts and recently had a close shave with Ben Ainslie in his boat (definitely not an attempt for an autograph, she claims).
New junior .NET developer Rob, meanwhile, is fresh out of university, boasting a very impressive MEng in engineering mathematics (it makes our head spin just typing that). However, Rob isn’t merely a mathematical wizard; he also once came 48th in a Parisian Rubik’s Cube competition…
Last, but by no means least, is project manager Maxime, who is no stranger to working with big-name brands or dabbling in website creation. Arguably more impressively, at the age of three he won a Spanish competition dancing to Michael Jackson’s Bad, but claims he can only dance to LMFAO these days. No doubt we will be demanding to see these magical moves recreated in Zone’s local, the Elixir, in the near future.
A big hello from all of us here at Zone.
