Four Zone projects make BIMA awards shortlist

We try not to use this blog as a platform for boring news updates or "aren’t we brilliant” agency announcements. We spend our days working with clients to create interesting, engaging and effective content, so believe it’s important to practice what we preach.

But on this occasion, please excuse us if we indulge in a little bit of shameless self-promotion. British Interactive Media Association has announced the shortlist for their annual awards – and we’ve received four nominations.

New Look TV – the innovative YouTube channel we created for the high-street fashion retailer – has been shortlisted in both the Social Media and Community categories by BIMA. The campaign has already won Best Retail Campaign at the Revolution Awards, and has also been shortlisted in the Best Use of Video and Best Digital Solution sections in the International Customer Publishing Awards.

Our work for Coca-Cola – which includes the design, build and ongoing management of Coca-Cola.co.uk – has been included in the shortlist for the Content category. The new site launched in beta in May 2010, so we’re thrilled to receive such a prestigious endorsement less than six months after going live.

We have also made the shortlist in the Best Email category, recognising the hugely successful pregnancy email campaign we devised for Mothercare. We worked with Mothercare to create a 36-week campaign that provides highly-targeted information, advice and offers for expectant mums – delivering a 25-fold increase in conversion and doubling the average order value to boot.

After celebrating wins at both the NMA Effectiveness and Revolution Awards this year, we’ll have our fingers crossed when the BIMA’s are announced next month.

But we promise not to use this blog to gloat about it if we do.
