Ready, set, mo

It’s that time of year again. The pumpkins have been eaten, the zombies have crawled back into their graves… and now the real horror begins, as half the Zone staff start sprouting lip foliage.
Joking aside, we’re very proud of our 'mo bros' and their follicle endeavours in aid of men's health. Hoping to make Tom Selleck’s soup-strainer look like a mere cappuccino stain, this year's Movember mascots are: Luigi Clemente, Rich Bultitude, Rob Reng, James Brown, Ed Crowley, Rich Williams and Ali Sheikh Taheri. Plus, mo sista Emma Lewis isn’t letting being a woman get in the way of a good cause and will be sporting a stick-on 'tache in the office every day.
Movember is an event particularly close to our hearts at Zone, as Prostate Cancer UK is one of our pro-social media clients. We've been working with the charity to build its new website and devise a digital strategy in line with its partnership with the Football League: check out our Moustachioed Legends XI feature, in honour of Movember.
The Movember campaign began in Australia in 2003 and is now a global movement, with more than 1.9 million participants raising money and awareness for men’s health charities, Prostate Cancer UK and the Institute of Cancer Research.
If you’d like to encourage our hirsute heroes, visit their fundraising page to donate and follow their progress. Please give generously – if only to ensure that they shave them off come December.
