Welcome, new Zoners

This week, we welcome a few more Zoners through the doors, starting with a new copywriter. Stephen Buss (pictured above) joins Zone from VML London, where he worked on Xbox, Microsoft, Colgate and Bacardi. He’s previously worked for Ogilvy, Proximity, DDB and The Concept Farm. His skills don't end there though, in true rock 'n' roll style, he has played on stage at Reading Festival.

Next up is north Londoner Deme Thomas. Since completing her studies of mass communications at the University of Hertfordshire, she has spent her time in fashion PR, working with brands such as Ted Baker, Nike, Emilio Pucci and UGG. She joins us as our new office assistant. When aged just three, Deme cut the tip of one of her fingers off, leaving her with no feeling in it after it was sewn back on – let’s hope she's is a little less accident-prone these days.

Last, but by no means least, is our new UX designer James Barrett who, between studying psychology and HCI, has worked at a radio station, co-founded a tech startup, spent five years working in the City and travelled the world. Before joining us he worked for agencies including Bandstand and Conran Singh, and he proudly tells us he owns a VHS collection to rival that of a late 20th-century Blockbuster video store.

Welcome, all!
