We launch Tesco food news website

Remember the James Stewart film Harvey? Remember how big that rabbit was? Six-foot, three-and-one-half-inch to be precise. Well, this week our stellar tech team pulled a metaphorical rabbit the size of Harvey from an accompanying metaphorical hat.
In just seven days they designed, built, populated with content and launched a fully responsive website for Tesco.
Tescofoodnews.com launched on Wednesday afternoon and has already racked up over 100,000 visits.
A proactive response to the horsemeat scandal, the food news website delivers on the promises of Tesco chief executive Philip Clarke.
The website informs consumers of the latest developments in the Tesco food supply chain and promotes the brand's promises to:
1. put better controls in place, introducing world-class traceability and food testing measures
2. source more meat from closer to home
3. build better relationships with farmers and growers
4. create more transparency about food provenance
We’re proud of our tech team, who keep raising the bar to meet each challenge our clients present us with. Let’s see what else they can do in a week…
