Record traffic on BT Life's A Pitch

Who'd be a Blackburn Rovers fan? This is the question that got a lot of people talking at the beginning of the week, thanks to our BT Life's A Pitch team. 

Our blogger Iain Macintosh wrote an opinion piece entitled Blackburn fans were right about Venky’s and manager Steve Kean all along which argued, following news of their relegation, that supporters had seen disaster coming from the start.

The article went viral within a few hours of posting, flooding the site with visits, sparking more than 120 comments and helping increase traffic by nearly four times the weekly average. As a result, that evening Iain was invited on to radio station Talksport to discuss his feature and the astounding reaction to it.
